THANK GOD ITS FASHION: BEST OF 2017

Hey Guys ,

First of all wishing all of my lovely friends and readers a very very HAPPY NEW YEAR ! I hope you all had a wonderful year and continue to have the same this year !

2017 has been exceptional for me in terms of work and everything else . Met amazing new people , collaborated with some great brands and honestly this year Kolkata has shown immense growth in terms of Fashion .

Coming to talk about it , shopping isn't easy ! You can walk into the finest of stores and walk out with nothing. After all , we find most of the stores same , with the same old things .

But few of the stores in Kolkata have been a game changer in fashion and how ! With new ideas , innovations , they have really leveled up the game !

I have rounded up some of the best stores i came across this year for you , whether you are looking for a budget shopping , or dreaming of customising that outfit you saw on Sonam Kapoor!!

1. LEVELL 5

The flagship store is situated in the heart of the city - Park Street and is owned by 3 beautiful independent ladies .

When i first walked into the store , i was taken aback with the kind of varieties they have .There was an outfit i really like , but honestly keeping in mind , the price point designer stores have , i didnt wanna purchase it . But to my surprise , i checked the tag , it was for around 5000/- .

I double - checked to confirm if i wasnt wrong , but no i wasn't !

Not only can you customise your own outfits , but can choose from a wide range of varieties . From Indian outfits, to Indo-western , to Evening gowns - THEY HAVE IT ALL !

And to tell you the least , They serve quality without making you lose your sleep on your Credit Card bills .

I teamed up with them to make a NEW YEAR look , but you could use it for a lot of other purpose ! HAVE A LOOK -

Look 1

So for my first look i picked up an Embroidered Off Shoulder Crop Top and paired it up with a skater skirt and boots , and this outfit is all you need to stand out in a crowd full of LBDs . What i loved the most about this outfit is the Top ! Its so versatile that you can almost wear it with everything , be it a saree or a skirt or pants !!

LOOK 2

One can possibly never stress on the fact how gorgeous a well fitted Black gown looks ! Black gowns are OTT and well , sometimes you gotta look OTT , but i will tell you how to strike the perfect balance .

Well gowns are always a little grand , and honestly i have seen people going horribly wrong with the classiest outfits . The key to doing it right is to accesorize the least , keep you hair sleek and your make up neat ! ( Well , yes take cues from Deepika Padukone )
