Holiday Look with Urban Pataka (1)

First of all , here's wishing you a very very HAPPY NEW YEAR ! Hope all of  you have a kickass year ahead !
Now that December( the official weekend month ) is over

Crushing On !

RED ! The color we often associate with Love! And , isnt Love the most beautiful thing ? So , is this Dress from STALKBUYLOVE.COM .. This " FLY HIGH DRESS" was "Love at First Sight " . Am not a person who wears too much of red , actually i dont wear it at all . Lately , I have been crushing on Fringes too but never really wanted to wear a full fledged Fringe outfit  since every other person is doing the same ! Smokey Eyes made easier !!!!

And here's my second post on Make Up ..
Well , Smokey Eyes have always been a trouble . It takes a hell lot of time to master it . Well i did take mine (although i still didnt master it yet ) ...... But, I Have tried to make it my way and make it more simpler . Hope you guys like it,
Description : 
Look created : Smokey Eyes for an evening out.

FOR THE EYES :

1. Products Used : NARS Gel Eyeliner as a base . VOV Black Matte Eyeshadow , and Brown Shimmery Eyeshadow , Lakme Eyeconic Kajal , Rimmel London Scandal Eyes .

Here's how it looks .



FACE :

     1. For my base , I have used  M·A·C Studio Fix Powder (NC 42 ) , Blush On is Sweet as Cocoa by M·A·C . 

LIPS : 

   1. Wearing Mocha by M·A·C ...

STEPS :

1. Start by prepping your skin using a primer . I use MAC Prep+Prime with SPF 50.
2. Do not immediately apply your base , since black eyeshadows generally tend to be messy and might spoil your entire make up .
3. Apply an eye cream and start by putting a black kajal just as you normally apply it on your eyelid following the shape of your eye . Now start blending it with a blending brush from the corners to the center and dab dab dab!!!!  
4. The next step is to dab the black eyeshadow on the kajal base you just made with an eyeshadow brush .To get an intense look , use a matte black eyeshadow . (I recommend MAC Carbon BlackEyeshadow , VOV Graphite Black Matte Eyeshadow ........ Now that you are done keep blending to the outer corners of your eyes and the crease until you get the smokey effect .
5. Now take a Brown shimmery shade on your eyeshadow brush and apply it on your crease line and blend it towards the outer corner of your eyes .  With the MAC 219 pencil brush I reapplied the black eye shadow on my lower lash line and blended it to get a smokey effect ...
6. Blush on is "Sweet as Cocoa " by MAC . 
7. Apply a nude color pencil on your lips . I use the Colorbar Nude Pink shade 007 ( i guess !) 
8. Then take a lipbrush and apply the lipstick . Lipstick is Mocha by MAC . 
9. VOILA !! There you are :)

Make Me Up ;)

My first make up post . I love to have fun with myself . so whenever am bored I keep on experimenting with myself creating different looks . Here's the first look that i am going to share . hope you all like it ... 

Description : Vintage Look . 
This look is inspired from Sonam Kapoor ( well , i am a big fan of her ) . Winged Eyeliner , Dramatic Red Lips and Simple Blush on .
Here's the steps to create this look .. :

1. Start by prepping your skin with a skin primer ( I use the MAC Prep+Prime SPF 50 )
2. I created my base using Studio Fix Powder plus Foundation (NC 42 )and concealer(MAC Studio Fix Correct and Conceal Palette Medium Deep shade nc42 ) dabbed into the skin and a translucent powder to set it.
3. Using your kajal or maybe an eyeliner brush(I use Lakme Eyeconic Kajal) draw a line from the innermost corners of the eyes following the shape of the eye to the outer corners. Then extend the line beyond the outer corner of the eyes into a wing.
4. Apply a little bit of kajal  below your lower lash line at the outer corners and connect it to the upper extended line to create a perfect winged eye.(you might use a black eye shadow with an angular blend brush )
5. Apply 2-3 coats of mascara( I use Rimmel London  Scandal Eyes) and a white kajal pencil to open up the eyes.
6. Use a peach coloured blush on the apples of your cheek .
7. Also do not forget to draw your eyebrows , remember nothing looks better than  perfectly groomed brows .Use a pale champagne shade on your brow bones to highlight your eye area.
8. Now finally the lips ( My favourite part) When creating a red lip, always use a red lip liner first to create a perfect outline. Then fill in the entire lip with the pencil and layer on the lip colour. This ensures that the lipstick won't bleed outside the lip line.I am using Colorbar Rich Red Lip Pencil and MAC Ruby Woo .

The Red Lips perfectly compliment my eye makeup and my yellow top . Hehe ;)

So girls , dont be afraid to try on Red Lips . I believe every girl is born to wear Red Lipsticks. But always remember to keep your makeup light , (Remember the balance policy ??? ) Always try to keep a balance between your eye make up and Lips . Follow this rule : Loud Lips , Light Eye Make up .... Subtle Lips :Loud Eye Make up . This way you will never go wrong !!!!!
