So if you know , recently i collaborated with PopXo and became a part of their PopXoBlogNetwork . The collaboration made me so excited , until PopXo decided to make me more excited by inviting me to take a part in a phenomenal contest : " MEET RIHANNA WITH PUMAxMYNTRA" .All i have to do is purchase a PUMA product from MYNTRA and style it , and the prize ? " AN ALL EXPENSE PAID TRIP TO NYC AND MEET RIHANNA IN FLESH IN NYC "
Unless you are living under a rock, you should already know , that Rihanna became the Creative Head of Puma and we can't wait to see her eclectic, dynamic creativity and energy blend with that of Puma's .
Rihanna's personal style is itself so god damn sexy , adventurous , quirky and versatile , that to match up to it , you need to think out of the box. She is one person whom i adore , and one person who can literally switch from the look of a Disney Princess to a Rockstar in a snap , and look the best in both of it .
Okay , so about my look for the contest , I wanted it to be Edgy , Fun and Classy at the same time . I didn't really wanna outdo it by adding a lot of accessories or anything , Instead i opted for something which nobody would at the moment i.e. to wear a "SWEATSHIRT " and "THIGH HIGH BOOTS" .
I once read in one of Rihanna's interviews , that she loves "OVERSIZED " Clothes . The beauty of wearing something which is not body-hugging and still look sexy is so god damn RAW and so RIHANNA !! It gives you an attitude . It makes you look cool ;) Also, if you know she LOVES "MEN'S CLOTHES " and hence i picked up a PUMA Sweatshirt from the men's section in Myntra .And to give the entire look a little feminine touch , i paired it up with a skirt .
It was sucha big risk to wear such clothes and actually shoot in the streets of Kolkata and this blazing heat , but guess you will never be stylish if you dont take risks . And, hence i paired my sweatshirt with KNEE-HIGH BOOTS because its kinda cool and different to ditch the sneakers and wear heels with a sweatshirt . I think am gonna wear this to a club someday .
